MyWingWhat it is
MyWing is an app that helps people remember things about the people they care about. When someone saves a link — a restaurant, an event, a gift idea — the app on their own phone requests that one page to read its title, description, preview image and structured details (for example a place’s address or opening hours from Open Graph tags or schema.org data).
It is not a crawler. It doesn’t follow links, doesn’t index your site, and the request comes from the person’s phone, not from a MyWing server.
How it behaves
- One page per save, plus a few spaced-out retries if the first attempt fails.
- HTTPS only, public addresses only, at most 5 redirects, about 1.5 MB and 8 seconds per request.
- No cookies are sent, and nothing it reads is sent anywhere but the person’s own phone.
